At the meetings, the future pushback against Russia's war of aggression and the necessary long-term, permanent, and effective support for Ukraine will be discussed.
“Democratic countries have done a lot to assist Ukraine, but we must collectively do more to ensure Ukraine wins and the aggressor is defeated. Then, there is hope that this will be the last military aggression in Europe, where someone attempts to dictate their neighbours' political choices using missiles, drones, and cannons,” said the Estonian Head of State, Alar Karis.
Following the meeting of the Presidents, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alar Karis will deliver statements and hold a press conference, which will be accessible via webcast. Additionally, an online broadcast will be available to follow the media event between the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Estonia.
The speech by the Head of State of Ukraine to the Riigikogu will be broadcast by Estonian Public Broadcasting and it can also be streamed on the website of the Riigikogu.
