The President of the Republic in his speech also mentioned a technology cooperation agreement the Enterprise Estonia is going to conclude with its Luxembourgian partners. In President's estimation, this cooperation agreement would be a cornerstone of exchanging knowledge and information, as well as of joint projects, which definitely would contribute to the development of economic relations between the two countries and strengthen Estonia's clout in Europe's common market.
Mr Joseph Kinsch, Chairman of Luxembourg's Chamber of Commerce, asked in his speech why were so many Luxembourgian businessmen interested in establishing business contacts with Estonia. He explained it with Estonias good economic indicators, like for instance rapid growth in GDP, and Estonia joining the European Union before long. Mr Kinsch congratulated Estonia on its good economic indicators and found that they encouraged to establish business relations with Estonia.
Next, President Rüütel will visit the exhibition "The Family of Man" at the Chāteau de Clervaux created by photographer Edward J. Steichen. The exhibition consists of five hundred photos by different photographers emphasizing the need for mutual understanding between people.
