Before noon, a festive divine service began in the St. Olaf's Church of Vormsi Archbishop of EELC Jaan Kiivit, Emeritus Bishop of Stockholm Henrik Svenungsson, Emeritus Archbishop of EELC Kuno Pajula and Dean Tiit Salumäe officiating.
After the divine service, the worshippers will have a common meal in the churchyard. In the afternoon, the President and Mrs Ingrid Rüütel will make a tour of the island guided by Ants Varblane, the mayor of the local municipality, and, thereafter, walk in the song festival procession and attend the song festival.
