Receiving the credentials the Estonian Head of State noted that, under present-day conditions, the geographical distance between countries was no big obstacle to develop relations between them. "For their common cause of peace and prosperity they can work together in several international organisations," the President gave an example and added that the bilateral relations between Estonia and Ecuador deserved further development.
