President Rüütel expressed his conviction that well thought through and consequent reforms, social stability, and forward-looking policy were in the interests of Estonia's future. The President of the Republic and the representatives of the Bank of Estonia at their meeting also discussed issues connected with launching euro in Estonia while agreeing that it was a natural step in Estonia's economic development, which would strengthen Estonia's position regarding economic policy.
