The President of the Republic and the Chairman of the Defence Committee stressed the importance of compulsory military service for the organisation of Estonia's national defence and for increasing people's willingness to defend their homeland. Further cooperation between the National Defence Committee of the Riigikogu and the Supreme Commander of National Defence was also discussed.
