On Thursday, the President of the Republic will visit an agricultural enterprise and deliver a talk at the investment conference in La Baule. His talk is entitled "European Union Enlargement Building a More Competitive Europe".
In the morning of June 27, President Rüütel will meet with Edouard Balladur, President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of French National Assembly and former Prime Minister, and give a talk at the seminar on regional development at the National Assembly. That same afternoon he will meet French President Jacques Chirac to discuss with him relations between Estonia and France as well as issues connected with the enlargement of the European Union and NATO.
President Rüütel will also visit the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Paris and meet with the President of MEDEF, Remy Robinet-Duffo.
The President of the Republic will return to Estonia on June 29.
