The President of the Republic had a meeting with the Social Committee of the Riigikogu

President Arnold Rüütel had a meeting with members of the Social Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu at Kadriorg this afternoon. The meeting focused on the legal acts currently processed by the Social Affairs Committee. Members of the Committee presented to the President a summary of the proceedings of the Pension Insurance Act, the Health Insurance Act and the Labour Contracts Act. Also matters related to employment and vocational education and investments into rural areas were discussed.
