The President of the Republic congratulated the President of Latvia

President Rüütel this afternoon phoned the President of Latvia, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, to congratulate her on her re-election as President. The President of the Republic wished good cooperation between Estonia and Latvia to continue, and both Heads of State confirmed their intention to meet prior to the EU referenda in order to discuss the respective EU information campaigns.
