President of the Republic conferred the Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana to the Ambassador of Sweden

President Lennart Meri today conferred the First Class Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana to Swedish Ambassador Katarina Brodin who paid a farewell visit to the President. The President thanked Ambassador Brodin for her personal contribution and also for Sweden’s support to Estonia.

Ambassador Katarina Brodin thanked the President for the honour bestowed upon her and added that she accepts the decoration in the name of her country. Katarina Brodin also conveyed her best wishes for the future of Estonia.
