The President of the Republic appointed a new Chief of General Staff of the Defence Forces

President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg signed the resolution to appoint Colonel Alar Laneman to the office of Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces and to release from office the present Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant Colonel Aarne Ermus.
