The Head of State released Kristen Michal from the office of the Minister of Justice, appointed the current Minister of Social Affairs to office as the Minister of Justice and appointed former member of the Riigikogu, Taavi Rõivas, to office as the Minister of Social Affairs.
The resolution of the President of the Republic will enter into force on 10 December 2012 at 6 pm.
President Ilves also met with the head of the Government, Andrus Ansip, and the new ministers of Justice and Social Affairs.
