“This visit is about exploring cooperation opportunities for Estonian companies and inviting Jordanian entrepreneurs to come and see what our market has to offer,” President Karis explained. “Estonia is the gateway to the EU market and offers both a simple business environment and economic freedom.”
The head of state says that Estonia has a lot in common with Jordan, paving the way for entrepreneurs to work together to attract investment to the country. “We share a strong work culture and have similar concerns in both our regions, which is why we understand the importance of contributing to security and relying on international law to secure peace,” he remarked, adding that good education and entrepreneurial freedom have helped Estonia establish a digital society and produce 10 unicorns.
President Karis says that Estonian companies are happy to share their digital society experience with others. “Most of the public services in our country are digital, which makes life much easier for people and companies alike,” he said. “A whole range of companies export their knowledge and services. As such, this visit will hopefully usher in new cooperation opportunities with Jordan.”
The business delegation accompanying President Karis includes representatives of Eesti Energia, Nortal, Scandinavian Exports, the Admiral Markets Group, Fra Mare Thalasso Spa, Aton Resources, Norvita, the Go Group, Ecomatic, Defsec Intel and Bolt.
