The purpose of the visit in Germany is to introduce the digital state of Estonia, e-health, digital ID and X-Road. In the evening, President Kaljulaid will talk to Chancellor Merkel and senior German officials about the digital community and the longer-term impact of the digital revolution on social models in the world. Digital sovereignty in Europe and cyber security will also be discussed.
The Head of State will return to Estonia tomorrow, 9 October.
