The main topics discussed at the meeting were the coronavirus situation and its impact in both Estonia and Lithuania and events and potential developments in Belarus. The Estonian head of state and Lithuanian parliamentary speaker also discussed energy policy and the synchronisation of their countries’ electricity networks with the Continental European frequency, as well as social policy, mental health and the prevention of violence. Human rights and civil partnership issues were also raised.
