"Special ties between Estonia and Finland mean that we also have special opportunities for deepening cooperation on issues that inevitably concern us and where we can be world leaders. We already have a common understanding of the importance of protecting the Baltic Sea and the Arctic and reducing carbon emissions," said the Head of State after the meeting.
In the afternoon, President Kaljulaid will visit the European Hybrid Threat Center and the innovative programming school Hive. In the evening, the Estonian Head of State will be promoted to Honorary Doctorate at the ceremony at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki.
The President of the Republic will return to Estonia tonight.
