President Ilves expressed condolences to Belgium

“Christmas peace must reign again following the grief and sorrow that we have felt in learning of the attack against hundreds of people at a Christmas market in Liege, Belgium, which has resulted in numerous victims. Estonia is reaching out its hand with condolences to Belgium; our thoughts are with the next of kin of the victims and we wish a speedy recovery for the wounded,” wrote the President, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, in his letter of condolences to the King of Belgium, Albert II, following the horrible tragedy in Liege yesterday.
