The visit will start with a meeting at Pärnu County Government where the President of the Republic will meet with Toomas Kivimägi, the acting Governor of Pärnu County. After that, President Rüütel will go to Häädemeeste, Tahkuranna and Audru rural municipalities, where he will meet with local fishermen and visit households that suffered the most from the storm. The head of state will also have a tour in the city of Pärnu.
In the afternoon the President of the Republic will go on to Lääne County where he will meet with County Governor Sulev Vare and will visit the summer camp of the Union for Child Welfare at Pivarootsi, Jugassaare harbour and households that have suffered from the flood.
The President of the Republic will meet the journalists:
