With this book, folklorist Ingrid Rüütel continues the series of her publications about Estonian folk songs. The publication is designed for practical usage by schools and amateur groups, but also by professional composers, musicians, and all those interested.
The second book of the series contains both older and newer folk songs with melodies from the former parishes of Kadrina and Rakvere. The material is enlivened by reminiscences of folk song collectors about singing and collecting situations. There are also numerous historical photographs in the book.
