President Kaljulaid is on a working visit to France


President Kersti Kaljulaid is on a working visit in France until Tuesday, where she will meet with President Emmanuel Macron and take part in the opening of the art exhibition on Baltic Symbolism at the Musée d'Orsay.

On Monday, President Kaljulaid will hold a bilateral meeting with Emmanuel Macron, President of France, followed by a working lunch with President Macron and the presidents of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Then President Kaljulaid and her French, Latvian and Lithuanian colleagues will participate in the exhibition "Wild Souls - Symbolism in the Baltic States" at the Musée d'Orsay to mark the 100th anniversary of the independence of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The opening will be followed by a joint press conference by all the heads of state.

President Kaljulaid will also meet with French entrepreneurs on Monday, introducing Estonia's economic environment and e-government.

On Tuesday, President Kersti Kaljulaid will travel to Lyon, where she will open an economic forum, in which both French and Estonian companies participate. The head of state will then visit the Lyon digital campus and open a cyber competition organised by the Estonian company Rangeforce. She is also scheduled to meet with Stéphane Bouillon, the Prefect of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Georges Képénékian, the Mayor of Lyon, and have lunch with local politicians and economic figures.

The Head of State will return to Estonia late on Tuesday night.
