President Kaljulaid to embark on a two-day work visit to the United Kingdom

President Kersti Kaljulaid will be on a work visit to the United Kingdom until Wednesday; apart from meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, she will take part in a business seminar and give a number of public lectures.

Tonight, the Head of State is due to meet with the Estonian community in London. On Tuesday, President Kaljulaid will visit Imperial College London university and give a lecture at Chatham House independent institute of politics, where she will speak about coping with digital transition.

On Wednesday, President Kersti Kaljulaid will meet at Windsor Castle with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Head of State will also open a business seminar, organised by the Estonian Chamber of Trade and Industry; at the event, Estonia will introduce its economic and legal environment to providers of media services in the UK. On the same day, President Kaljulaid will give a public lecture at University College London.

Over these days, the Head of State will also give interviews to the Financial Times, The Times, BBC Radio 4, Sky News, Channel 4 and Latvian TV.
