The Head of State expressed condolences to the United Kingdom

President Kersti Kaljulaid sent a letter of condolences to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland following the explosion that took place next to Manchester Arena, a popular venue for sporting events and concerts, and resulted in 22 people dead and 59 injured.

"Fighting terrorism is a common problem for Europe. I condemn, unanimously, each and every act of terrorism, as these are attacks against our people, values and the stability of our societies," wrote the Estonian Head of State.

President Kaljulaid expressed condolences to the next of kin of the deceased and wished those injured a speedy recovery. "The thoughts of Estonians are with the people of the United Kingdom during these difficult times," wrote the Head of State.
